Maintenance of Steam Generators/ Boilers

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TO BOILERS INCLUDES:

• Running hydrostatic tests
• General soot cleaning
• Extraction of sludge accumulated at the bottom, on the water side
• Back cover opening, packaging replacement and closing
• Opening, packing replacement and closing of the front cover, back cover, step and nozzle
• Replacement of packaging to hand registers (turtles)
• Healing of cracked refractories
• (refractory collapsed, with greater damage, is listed separately)
• Mc donnell review with replacement glass and gaskets for level
• Flame failure shutdown tests Low level shutdown tests
• Over pressure shutdown tests (for this, the equipment is required to have shutdown pressure control for safety)
• Triggering of safety valves.
• General cleaning and burner calibration
